"Dr. Wooden placed a firm hand on Jesse's shoulder. The lawyer understood the gesture. Once again, a sudden slice of the nightmares that haunted his nights had lit up his mind like a flare. There had been this hill, a small hill near the Laotian border. He leaned back and closed his eyes for a moment to compose himself. The holographic image that had invaded his thoughts slowly dissipated."

Explanation: This quote is significance because when Jesse holds back on what he is telling everyone else, he starts to space off on what his nightmares where about and he started to have some sort of flash backs relating with the case he is speaking of.

  • What might of made Jesse thought about that might of stopped him from going on with his case?
  • While Jesse talk about this particulare case, what came to your mind about the victim always having his finger prints in the same place?
